Disaster Response

Rooted in our DNA as a church is compassionate response in times of disaster. Here are ways that LFCN responds to disasters:

  • Mobilizing disaster response teams. follow us on social media to get details after a natural disaster occurs.
  • If needed, LFCN will open its doors to provide shelter during storms.

Crisis Care Kits

In times of disaster, a response from the church of the Nazarene is to supply Crisis Care Kits. Please see the list below for items to include in each kit. A kit should include only the items/quantities listed packed inside a clear plastic ziplock bag. Please drop off the kit(s) you prepare at LFCN for distribution.


  • 4 POCKET-SIZE PACKAGES OF FACIAL TISSUE


  • 1 FINGERNAIL CLIPPER


  • 2 HAND TOWELS


  • 1 STURDY HAIR COMB


  • 1 BOX OF BAND-AIDS (30 OR MORE)


  • 1 MEDIUM TOOTHPASTE (4-6.4 OZ.)


  • 3 TOOTHBRUSHES


  • 2 BARS OF SOAP (BATH-SIZE OR LARGER)


  • 1 BOTTLE OF SHAMPOO (12-18OZ.)


  • 1 BEANIE BABY SIZE STUFFED TOY
